Categories for Judgement

1st Round
Children with their parents’ permission are asked to call in Live on the show and recite for
1 minute, any surah/verse via the telephone. They will be judged and scored; the best recitation
based on the rules of recitation will be chosen to go through to the 2nd round.
(PLEASE SEEK THE PERMISSION OF WHOEVER PAYS THE PHONE BILL, YOU WILL BE CHARGED LOCAL RATES. CALLS FROM MOBILE PHONES; COSTS MAY VARY DEPENDING ON YOUR NETWORK PROVIDER)
2nd Round
Winners will be notified of when they have to appear on the Islam channel for this stage of the competition.
- Free recitation - 3 minutes
The judge will ask you to recite from either Juz 1-10, 11-20 or 21-30. You are required to prepare in any case from all three sections.
- Recitation + Translation – minimum of 10 verses
The judge will ask you to recite from either Juz 1-10, 11-20 or 21-30. You are required to prepare in any case from all three sections.
- Tarteel Round – maximum 5 minutes
The judge will ask you to recite from either Juz 1-10, 11-20 or 21-30. You are required to prepare in any case from all three sections.
- Khutbah Round – (Recitation + Translation and Tafseer)
You are required your own choice of between five and ten verses, recite, translate and give commentary on the verses. You are expected to relate the verses to one relevant hadith.
- Knowledge Round - Rules of Tajweed (3 Questions in 2 minutes)

- Rules of Madd
- Rules of the letter Raa
- Ikhfaa
- Izhaar
- Qalqalah
- Meem Saakeen
- Idghaam
- Iqlaab
- Noon Saakeen and Tanween

3rd Round
Winners will compete again based upon the above criteria
Grand finals; May take place at the Global Peace and Unity Event
