The Dawah Project
"Allah, the Angels, the inhabitants of heaven and earth, even the ant in its hole and even the fish in the sea, send blessings upon the one who teaches the people good "
Al-Tirmidhi (2609)
It has been bestowed upon all Muslims to pass on knowledge, to better our self within Islam and follow in the footsteps of our Noble Prophet peace be upon him (PBUH). The Dawah Project is a registered charity, which aims to spread Islam through the media. By using the media, The Dawah Project is able to promote religious harmony between communities by providing a sound education for all about Islam.

Media plays a crucial part in people’s lives. Television is watched on a regular basis in most households and we want to maximise the exposure this provides to its full potential. Through Islam Channel, which broadcasts in over 135 countries, we are able to spread Dawah through the media to millions across the globe.

By sponsoring programs on Islam Channel we are able to broadcast religious programs throughout the year. A few of the recent shows include, Soul Search, The Greatest, Generation, Counsels of the Heart, Commanders of the Faith as well as one of the all time favourites, The Final Legacy. These programs will take you on a journey where you can look into the life of our Noble Prophet (PBUH) and his companions; enhance your understanding of Islam and strengthen your Imaan.
Radio
The Dawah Project understands there are millions of Muslim brothers and sisters living in poverty, where getting electricity is a luxury.

The Dawah Project would like to spread the message of Islam through the radio. We want to sponsor Voice of Africa 94.7FM Kigali Radio station located in Madina Mosque in the City of Kigali, Rwanda. It is able to reach 70% of the population which, equates to some 7.9 million people in Rwanda alone.

The signal from the Voice of Africa radio station also covers as far as neighboring countries including Burundi, Uganda, Eastern Congo and part of Western Tanzania. Total listenership for the region is an estimated 70 million.
Ramadhan
Ramadhan is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar and marks the revelation of the Holy Qur’an. It is often referred to as the month of mercy and what better time to spread Islam than during this auspicious month?

During Ramadhan, Islam Channel broadcasts special Ramadhan programming
Hajj
Hajj is one of the five pillars of Islam and the greatest spiritually enhancing trip one can make. Unfortunately, many Muslims are unable to perform Hajj. Thus, in association with The Dawah Project, Islam Channel has been able to bring you remarkable live coverage with touching stories and great insights. Through this viewers have been able to observe the beauty and magnificence of the rituals of Hajj as well as gaining a great insight of this trip of a life time.
