The Shows

Art and Crafts

At Islam Channel Kids, we are back hosting a new series of Arts and Crafts. We are (insha’Allah!) going to splash, squeeze and squirt 10 minutes of art into each episode, but not without your help! So if you are aged between 5 and 13 and love to be creative and get sticky, send your name and contact details to us, and you and your art could be on TV! You will be able to help out with all the exciting activities that we have planned and meet lots of other creative Muslim children. Find out below how to send us your details. We look forward to seeing you, and insha’Allah, you could soon be watching yourself and your artwork on the new TV series!

Cooking Program

Do you like to help mum or dad in the kitchen? Do you love to get your hands sticky? Do you enjoy the smell of freshly baked cookies and chocolate chip muffins? Here at Islam Channel, we are looking for enthusiastic children between the ages of 10 and 14, to help host our new cooking show. Get down and yummy with a fun dish or scrummy cake, or perhaps you may have an exciting recipe of your very own to share. So if you would like to appear on the next episode, please send your details and we will soon get back to you insha’Allah.

“Team Spirit”

Islam Channel is seeking to host the first-ever Team Spirit game for Muslim children just like you. It will be an opportunity to get involved in lots of exciting team games like ‘Balloon Challenge’ or ‘Hidden Treasure’, to be more active, healthy and have more fun! Our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) encouraged us to exercise and to stay fit and healthy and he himself as well as many other Muslims at that time, took part in many sports. What a more fun way to follow their example than to join Team Spirit? If you think you have got what it takes to be involved, send your details to Islam Channel, and soon you could be beating the clock, jumping through hoops and egg-racing other Muslim children to the finish line!

Qur’an Recitation, Nasheeds and Poem’s

Maybe you have memorised a new Surah of the Holy Qur’an and practiced a new recitation, or perhaps you have learnt a Nasheed by your favourite artist. We would love you to come and appear on IC Kids and share it with us and all the Islam Channel viewers, whatever it may be.

How do you spend your weekend?

Everyone loves a Friday. No only does it mean another blessed Eid for us Muslims and a jumm’ah Salat in the local mosque, but it means the end of another hard-working school week! So after school’s out, we want to know what you get up to, and how you might spend your ordinary weekend. We want to see what our young Muslim brothers and sisters do to occupy their time and how they spend their time at home; maybe it means spending quality time with the family, or being involved in sports or having Qur’an lessons. In fact, Islam encourages us to stay away from idleness, and instead keep ourselves busy in useful, positive things, that help others, like our parents, our friends, and us. So, Islam Channel Kids is looking for enthusiastic individuals who are willing to take part in the filming of their typical weekend activities, so we can share, learn and encourage each other to stay busy!
