Ilm Day is a national competition organised by Islam Channel in recognition of the
necessity to encourage talent amongst Muslim youth and to promote progression in
their lives through education and other constructive interests. It aims to
celebrate, nurture and empower exceptional young Muslim achievers, enabling
them to inspire and serve as role models for other young people in their
communities.
The Ilm Day award is assessed through an individual’s achievement in the areas
of education, sport, religion and the arts. All nominations are assessed through
different phases of a selection process thereby shortlisting only the very best
candidates, who are all invited to the gala awards ceremony on Saturday 16th
January 2010.
