1. Deadline for nominations is Saturday 14th November 2009.
2. Entries received through the online nomination form will be reviewed by a panel of judges creating a shortlist of candidates to be invited for an interview. These interviews will be conducted on a one-to-one basis. The interviews will be held in central London at the Islam Channel head office. The interviews will be scheduled after 14th November 2009. The exact interview date will be advised upon selection.
3. The candidates successfully short listed from the first interview stage will be invited for a second interview. These interviews will be conducted by a panel of judges, and the candidates will be required to make a presentation. Requirements for the presentation will be provided with the invitation.
4. The finalists will be invited with family members to attend a gala awards ceremony on Saturday 16th January 2010 at Hilton Metropole London.

Saturday 14th November 2009, at 23:59 p.m. Nominations made or received after this closing date and time will not be considered.

To be eligible, nominees for the Ilm day Awards must be UK residents.

Permission must be obtained from the person being nominated before their name, address and phone number is forwarded to Islam Channel to be considered for the award. If the nominee is under 18, then you must provide contact details for their parent or guardian, otherwise we will be unable to consider your nomination. In addition, the nominee must agree to travel to London to attend any interviews as well as the awards ceremony on Saturday 16th January 2010.

Academic achievements of the nominee will provide them entry into the Awards. However any accomplishments in the areas of Deen, Sports and Arts will add distinction to their profile hence qualifying them for Platinum, Gold, Silver or Bronze award accordingly.

All nomination forms providing the required information as specified, and having the prior permission of the nominee and sent to Islam Channel ahead of the closing date and time for receipt of nomination forms will be considered for the Ilm Day Awards.
