Skills and experience required:

   Over 2 years experience in a similar environment

   Experience building responsive websites and testing those sites on

   Physical and virtual devices

Overview of Post

Teebah Foundation’s fundraising activity is to expand considerably in the next two years. Building upon the significant successes and the increased fundraising opportunities we are now able to increase the size of the team.

 

The post of the Fundraising Officer reports to and assists the Business Manager, and is accountable to the Director. The post holder will focus upon delivering the outcomes in the Fundraising Plan. They will proactively lead on a range of fundraising activities including organising events, building relationships with donors, maintaining donor data and communications.

 

The post of the Fundraising Officer will offer the successful candidate a range of personal development and training opportunities including Institute of Fundraising training.

 

Key Responsibilities

The key responsibilities of the Local Fundraising Officer are:

1. To develop and design fundraising materials, including the Teebah Foundation’s website, newsletters, fundraising leaflets, sponsorship packages and letters to donors

2. To identify and develop new fundraising activities and events in conjunction with the Fundraising Plan

3. To promote the work of the Trust through presentations, the writing of PR materials, press releases, advertisements and media campaigns

4. To engage, develop and maintain professional relationships with individual members of the local community, local companies and other community organisations in order to promote one off donations and regular giving

5. To maintain appropriate records to ensure fundraising income is processed efficiently with timely acknowledgements, thank you letters, donor reports & HMRC gift aid claims

6. To research, collate and analyse data that allows for the identification of new fundraising income streams; and donor & volunteer profiles, as well as informing fundraising performance

7. To prepare, submit and follow-up new fundraising applications and initiatives

8. To support Lake District Calvert Trust capital fundraising appeals as and when they arise

9. To assist in writing reports and plans which inform decision making at Senior Management and Trustee levels

10. To undertake any other reasonable duties as requested by the Business Manager or Centre Director

Qualifications and Experience

·         Experience of fundraising at least two year’s relevant  experience

  • Driver: Being responsible as the main driver for the charity, this involves driving the company van to/from events/warehouse, loading/unloading stock.

1. Via our Call Centre: the role involves calling up members of the public and existing supporters, creating awareness of the great work the charity does and raising money for it.

2. Via Events/Street Fundraising: speaking to members of the public, promoting the work the charity does and inspiring people to donate.

Position Role & Objective

Islam Channel is seeking a creative commercial and showreel Producer to Film, Edit and Deliver; Adverts, film company show-reels, idents for Islam Channel and provide videos for public service information.

 

Key Requirements

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years experience working with broadcast cameras on location and within a studio environment.

Experienced in using Sony DSR 350/400/570s cameras, Sony Z1/Z5s to a high standard. 

Able to use Arri lights, filters, gels and radio mics whilst shooting on location.

Experience in video editing and the ability to creatively merge footage, images and sound.

Adobe premiere, Adobe audition, Adobe after effects and Adobe encore (Knowing Final Cut Pro, Motion, DVD Studio Pro, Final cut pro, Color and Compressor will be an added advantage)

Good Knowledge of Compression for DVD, Video / audio downloads and web streaming.

Vivid imagination, excellent communication skills and the ability to multitask is a must.

Understanding of photography, typography and technical techniques used in broadcasting.

Responsibility and Role

The Commercial and Showreel Producer will be responsible for producing innovative and creative ideas for advertising campaigns, whether it is a television advert, brochure or leaflet advertisement.

To effectively convey the core message of the campaign, visually.

Create illustrative sketches (storyboards) and write scripts for each commercial or campaign, to present to clients.  

Completing projects from production to post production.

Create Showreels and short promotional adverts for the channel’s programmes and company showreel.

Motion Graphics Designer

With headquarters in Central London, Islam Channel provides alternative news, current affairs and entertainment programming from an Islamic perspective. Since its launch in 2004 Islam Channel has developed into a platform for ingenious and practical television complementing the definition of good programming.

 

Broadcast in English, Islam Channel aims for it’s programming to appeal to both Muslims and non-Muslims. Ultimately conveying Islam in its true form to curious non-Muslims and to further educate Muslims.

Position Description: ?

Islam Channel is seeking a motion graphics designer to work across multiple platforms for broadcast and TV commercials. You will be based within our busy post-production department working closely with our production staff on a variety of projects to design channel IDs and motion design content for tv programmes.

There is emphasis on the replacement of old graphics packages and other visual elements within existing TV programmes and TV commercials. You will need to deliver high quality results under high-pressure deadlines, and pay close attention to detail combined with a strong working knowledge of design-related applications is essential.

The Requirements:

1. A thorough understanding of After Effects and industry standard plug-ins

2. A thorough knowledge of Final Cut Pro, Adobe CS6 & CC collections, including Photoshop and Illustrator

3. 3D experience, particularly in Cinema 4D & 3D Studio MAX

4. A good grasp of post-production processes and services for broadcast

5. A good working knowledge of Mac OSX, PC and digital workflows

6. A strong ability to work to specification and tight deadlines

7. 3+ years experience working as a motion graphics designer preferably in a broadcasting environment
