Dr Abdul Muhsin Khan passes away at 97
Dr Abdul Muhsin Khan, the famous co translator of the Holy Quran into English and the first person to translate the hadith collection Sahih Al Bukhari into English, passed away today at the age of 97.
His funeral prayer was performed at Masjid An Nabawi, the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah. The Afghani started his medical training in Pakistan and completed it in England.
After which he was offered a job in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Whilst working his way up to becoming a Director of the clinic in Islamic University of Madinah he dedicated his free time on the famous translations.
We ask Allah to accept his sincere efforts, expand his grave and grant him the highest rank of Jannah.
