Video: Manchester City players say Alhamdulillah after Champions League win

A video clip showing several Manchester City football players saying Alhamdulillah after their Champions League final win over Inter Milan has caught the attention of many on social media. 

The clip shows City players Kyle Walker, Kevin De Bruyne, and Rodri say Alhamdulillah, while John Stones even added “MashaAllah.” City secured the historic treble by winning their first-ever European Champions League title at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul on Saturday.

The use of Islamic phrases like Alhamdulilah, Bismillah, InshaAllah have entered the mainstream with many non-Muslims using those words, including the likes of Anthony Joshua and Erling Haaland.
