The Report: USA vs. Russia : Is a new nuclear arms race about to begin?

Russian President Vladimir Putin warned United States that he will develop new missiles aimed at Western capitals if the United States goes ahead with new missiles in Europe. Putin says that US is abandoning the 1987 Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces treaty which was signed by the then US president Ronald Reagan and Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev. At the time the agreement resolved a crisis over Soviet nuclear-tipped ballistic missiles targeting Western capitals. Many analysts say that abandoning this treaty can provoke the start of a new arms race.
