The Report: Is India Imposing Israeli policy in Kashmir?
India has partially banned civilian movement on the Kashmiri highway which is linking Indian – administered Kashmir. It will be closed to civilians twice a week to facilitate the movement of Indian Army convoys in the region. Regional mainstream leaders have said India is importing Israeli policies to turn Kashmir into Gaza, referring to the Israeli policy of barring Palestinians from using many roads, citing security reasons. Hundreds of schools and hospitals could only access via the road that will be partially closed. A Kashmiri politician has stated this is completely choking the freedom of movement of 7 million residents.
