It has been 25 years since the Rwandan genocide left more than 800,000 people brutally murdered. Hundreds joined a march led by Rwandan President Paul Kagame through the streets of Kigali to honour the victims of the genocide. The march took place at the country’s main football ground, the Amahoro National Stadium, which was used by the UN during the genocide to protect thousands of Tutsis from being massacred on the streets outside.
