Islam Channel is proud to launch a brand new Muslim morning show called Salaam Britain — the first of its kind in the UK.

The new show will have lively chats and programming that features cookery, health, careers, spirituality and education.

It will be on Monday to Thursday between 9am and 12pm.

Producer Nailah Edwards said: "It's a warm morning show that helps you start your day on the right foot."

"It's going to be a really interesting and entertaining show. We’ll have guests every day; female CEOs, healthcare professionals, artists etc and they will not always be women, but mostly women.

"We'll cover trending stories that are happening around the world of interest to Muslims and from a Muslim perspective. You can go on any other channel and get a non-Muslim perspective of world events and how they affect us, and sometimes things do affect us differently from other cultures.

"We'll also have the best bits and highlights of some of the amazing content from Islam Channel's other shows."

On TV, our rolling news coverage has featured key figures like Husam Zomlot, Avi Shlaim, Gideon Levy and Jeremy Corbyn.
