Video: 'Ramadan cat' jumps on Imam during live Taraweeh prayer broadcast
A video of a cat jumping on an imam in Algeria leading Taraweeh prayers has gone viral on social media.
The live broadcast captured the moment the tiny orange calico cat jumped on Imam Walid Mehsas and climbed his shoulders.
The Imam, leading the nightly Ramadan prayer in Bordj Bou Arreridj, Algeria, remained unfazed and continued his prayers without interruption, gently petting the feline that approached him.
