Islam Channel has the pleasure of announcing the 1st day of Ramadan 1443 will be Saturday 2nd April 2022. It means the first Taraweeh prayers will be this evening, Friday.

“O you who have believed, decreed upon you is fasting as it was decreed upon those before you that you may become righteous” (Surah al-Baqara)

Many Muslim countries including Qatar, United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia have now announced that tomorrow will be the first day of Ramadan, based on the sighting of the moon, using advanced telescopes, which astronomically is now possible.

To help you get into the Ramadan spirit, below is a taste of what we have in store for you on Islam Channel. We look forward to sharing Ramadan with you and your loved ones.

Wishing you all a happy, safe and blessed Ramadan.

From the Islam Channel family to yours, Ramadan Mubarak!
